Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission was founded on July 1, 1956, the same year when the state of Andhra Pradesh was formed. This organization holds the responsibility of recruiting important designations of the state, starting from setting eligibity parameters, conducting examinations, and other responsibilities.
As per the notification to be published on the official website on the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission, www.website.apspsc.gov.in, APPSC has invited applications from eligible and interested aspirants for filling 4305 posts of VRA and 1658 posts of VRO. As these job posts of VRA and VRO falls under the category of Government job, thus Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission will be conducting an examination to select the eligible aspirants. As the posts are good and of permanent nature, the competition for the same will be very tough.

Good opportunity for Matriculation or ITI passed candidates is knocking their doors in form of  Post man and Mail guard posts. Office of Chief Post master Karnataka circle situated at Bangalore has issued notification to recruit 340 postman, mail guards and MTS in various postal and railway divisions. All the recruitments will be made through direct recruitment channel. Separate notifications are issued for Post Man, Mail Guard Post and Multitasking Staff. Vacancies are available on pan Indian level and any one fulfilling eligibility criteria as stated in notification can apply through given format of application form.

Eligibility Criteria :

Age Limit- Candidates should be in age bracket of 18 years to 27 years as on January 2014.


Educational Qualification- Candidates should possess matriculation or ITI diploma from any 
recognized board / Institute.


Selection Procedure:
All the eligible candidates who will fill and send their correct application from will undergone an aptitude test of 10th class level. After exam, a merit list will be prepared and candidates will be selected on appropriate posts.


Written exam pattern and syllabus :
Exam will consists of 100 Marks having 4 parts. Duration of exam will be of 90 Minutes.
1-    Part A – This part will be of 25 Marks. Question will be asked from General knowledge, Reasoning and analytical ability
2-    Part B – Questions will be asked from Mathematics having Multiple choice questions of Maximum 25 marks
3-    Part C – This part will be further divided in two sub parts. 25 marks will be allotted to English language questions and 25 Marks to Kannada Language
Each candidate requires to secure minimum qualifying marks.


Application Fees:
Candidates require to pay Rs 200/ as application fees and deposit in any postal office in Karnataka Circle through e-payment. Also candidates can pay Fees in form of postal order in favor of Senior Superintendent of respective divisions.


Instructions to fill Application form and submission:
Candidates should apply only in given form format. Aspirants should take printout of form and fill details correctly. Applications should be filled in own handwriting of candidates. After affixing photograph, candidates require to get it attested from Gazetted Officer. It is advised that candidates should tick appropriate box in application form. Form should be filled in block letters only. 

After filling application form and affixing photigrphas, candidates should sent it in an envelope of size 9x4 by affixing appropriate postage stamp and send it through registerd post only. All the supposed documents like call letter, interview schedule will be emailed by the bank to the registered e-mail ID.
  • The interested and eligible applicant must log onto Bank’s website www.aryavart-rrb.com and click on the link “Recruitment”.
  • Thereafter the applicant must download the fee payment challan, fill in the necessary details and visit the nearest Gramin Bank of Aryavart Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account No. 000210210000001 with Gramin Bank of Aryavart.
  • Once the application fee is deposited, the candidates can apply online by revisiting the recruitment link on the website.
