Here is an opportunity to work in Government sector. In reference to the notification issued By Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC Recruitment 2013), there are a multitude number of vacancies for the post of Stenographer. All the interested candidates can apply both offline and online methods by on or before 26.10.2013. Before, checking the eligibility standards set by Staff Selection Commission of India (SSC), the interested candidates to refer to the guidelines mentioned below:

GUIDELINES
1. For the posts of Stenographer, a Combined All India Open Examination will be conducted.
The candidates are advised to go through the requirements of educational qualification, age etc. and satisfy themselves that they are eligible for applying.
2. Candidates who would be seeking reservation, must have the eligibility certificate to claim the reservation.
3. The last date for application is 26 Oct 2013 by 5 pm. Moreover, only a single application would be entertained by the SSC.
4. The Application fee is Rs 100 and fee is exempted for women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.

ELIGIBLITY STANDARDS :-

a.      Citizenship: Only the citizens of India are eligible to apply for SSC recruitment program for the posts of Stenographers.
b.      Age Limit: The category-wise age limit for candidates as on 01.08.2013 are as following

Application fees :- 

Via Offline :

For General (Unreserved) candidates need to deposit Rs 100/-. If you are filling application form through prescribed format , then you should need to deposit exam fees inform on CRPF Stamps by means of "Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)"only.  CRFS stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post Offices of the country. Recruitment Fee Stamps should be pasted on the application form in the space earmarked for the purpose and got cancelled from the Counter of Post Office of issue with the date stamp of the Issuing Post Office in such a manner that the impression or the cancellation stamp partially overflows on the Application Form itself, taking care at the same time that the impression is clear and distinct to facilitate the identification of date and Post Office of issue at any subsequent stage.

Via online mode :-

Candidates who will be apply application form online, they can deposit application form by Challan at any State bank of India Bank branches.

APPLICATION APPLY PROCEDURE (HOW TO APPLY) :-

SSC has provided a liberation for application procedure, both online and offline modes are available. The candidates can apply using either of the mode, as per their convenience. 
·         Offline Mode: The candidates may download the form from the website www.ssc.nic.in  and fill in the necessitated details. The applications should be addressed to the Regional / Sub-Regional Offices of the Commission.
·         Online Mode: The online submission of the application may be made at website www.ssconline.nic.in.Enter all details carefully and read before submit online form. After submission online form take a printout of acknowledgement receipt for further use.  
 
SELECTION PROCEDURE :-

The merit list will be prepared on the basis of pre-set selection procedure set by Staff Selection Commission of India. There are 2 phases of selection procedure:
·         Phase I: Written Test
·         Phase II: Skill Test

The Candidates who obtain the qualifying marks in the Written Examination as may be prescribed by the Commission will only be called for the Skill Test. The candidates will have to appear for the stenography test. The candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in English / Hindi at the speed of 100 w.p.m. for the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for the post of SSC Stenographer Grade ‘DRecruitment 2013 .
