CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET) – FEB 2014; Apply Online Before 31st October 2013 

Once again, comes the golden opportunity to work with schools affiliated to CBSE, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. In reference to the recent notification in reference to the CTET examination, eligible and interested candidates are requested to apply through online process for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VII before 31st October 2013. 

SOME IMPORTANT DATES FOR CANDIDATES
  • Submission of On-line application: 11.10.2013 to 31.10.2013
  • Last date for Online Submission of application: 31.10.2013
  • Last date for receipt of Confirmation Page in CBSE, CTET Unit: 07.11.2013

SCHEDULE OF THE EXAMINATION
In comparison to the earlier versions of CTET examinations, the schedule of CTET- Feb 2014 examination has been changed. The schedule of CTET Feb 2014 will be in the following way:

APPLICABILITY OF CTET 2014

  • The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government and UT.
  • CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.

ELIGIBILITY
a.      Minimum educational qualification for post of Primary teachers (Classes I-V)
  • Senior Secondary with at least 50% mark and B.Ed. or
  • Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education
b.      Minimum Educational Qualification for post of elementary teachers (Classes VI-VIII)
  • Graduation with B.Ed.
  • Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc. Ed
The candidates who belong to the reserved categories will be offered relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification.

PATTERN OF THE EXAMINATION:-

There will be an objective paper for CTET 2014, there will be no negative marking. There will be 2 papers of CTET.
  • Paper I: for those who are willing to apply for the posts of primary teachers
  • Paper II: for those who are willing to apply for the posts of elementary teachers
For the persons, who intend to apply for both the vacancies; needs to appear in both the exams Paper I and Paper II.

FEES FOR CTET-FEB 2014 EXAMINATION
All the applicants are supposed to pay an application processing fee. The category wise application fee are:

The candidate should supply all the details while filling up the ‘On-line’ Application. Candidates are required to take a print out of the computer generated Confirmation Page after successful submission of data, which has to be sent to CBSE, CTET Unit, after affixing a passport size photograph and signature in the space provided and also with the original CBSE copy of Challan( if fees paid through Challan).
