Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Aspirants have to complete the Diploma in a relevant department with a minimum of 70% aggregate as the NTPC DT Educational Qualifications. And the relaxations will be there for the SC/ST/PWD/ Land Oustees Candidates. The following are the post wise educational qualifications details.

Age Limits

The upper age limit is 25 years as of the application’s last date. And the Canaanites belongs to the Land Oustees category are having the upper age limit of 35 years as of the application’s last date.

Application Fee

As per the official’s released notification, the candidates who belong to the category of General/OBC/EWS is required to pay the non-refundable NTPC Diploma Trainee  Application Fee of Rs. 300/-. And SC/ ST/ PwBD/ XSM/ Female candidates need not pay any application fee.

• General/OBC/EWS: Rs. 300/-
• SC/ ST/ PwBD/ XSM/ Female candidates: Exempted from paying a fee

Selection Procedure

NTPC will shortlist the candidates for the 70 Diploma Trainee (Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, Mine Survey) will be based on the 2 stages of the Online Test (Computer Based Test).

Salary Package

Selected candidates will have the training for a period of 2 years at various NTPC Coal Mining sites and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs. 24,000/- per month. On successful completion of training, these candidates will be absorbed in the basic pay of Rs. 24,000/- in W7 Grade. The final place of posting in Coal Mining Projects will be
allocated after successful completion of the training.
